On Monday 14th February, The English Library played host to HMA Hugh Elliott, the British Ambassador to Spain, and his wife Toni. After being welcomed by President Ken Fisher, they were given a short tour of the library by Graham Taylor.  They then enjoyed a sumptuous buffet prepared by Maureen Palmer and her loyal team of helpers. Both Ambassador Elliott and his wife circulated among the other guests, and enjoyed informal chat with them.
