THE NEXT FILM CLUB screening will be a comedy Going In Style, starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin as lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al, who decide to buck retirement and step off the straight and narrow for the first time in their lives.

The showing will be on Thursday, December 7, with a 1.30 for 2pm start. If you wish to attend, please leave your name at the Treasurer’s Desk. Admission is free and for Library members only. Refreshments and ice creams will be available during the intermission.

A group of local artists will be exhibiting their work in the DVD room in the build up to Christmas. The exhbition will run for one week, starting on Wednesday December 13, during normal Library opening hours. The artwork is available for sale.

Our Grand Christmas Raffle will be drawn on Saturday, December 16, at 12 noon. There’s still time to buy tickets and win one of the many prizes, which are on display in reception.

Visitors are welcome to join us during opening hours, Mondays and Fridays 3-5.30 pm and Wednesday and on Saturdays 10am-1pm. Refreshments are served in the garden on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
