Consular talks on post-Brexit rights

2nd June 2018 by Graham Taylor

A HIGH-RANKING TEAM from the British Consul will address a meeting at the English Library in Puerto de la Cruz on the subject of ‘British Citizens’ Rights’ on Thursday, July 5th, starting at 11am.

Charmaine Arbouin, British Consul for Andalusia and the Canaries, will give a short talk followed by a question and answer session addressing issues arising from the British government’s ongoing Brexit negotiations.

She will be accompanied by Helen Diaz de Arcaya Keating, British Vice Consul for the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Penelope Gomez, Consular Officer.

The meeting is open to all those who wish to attend and is not restricted solely to Library members. However, it would help organisers planning for the event to know how many are likely to attend so either leave your name at the Library treasurer’s desk, send message via the Library’s Facebook page or email englibrary@outlook.com.

There will be no charge and the event is open to all.
